The 2013 UEFA Europa League Final was the final match of the 2012–13 UEFA Europa League, the 42nd season of Europe's secondary club football tournament organised by UEFA, and the fourth season since it was renamed from the UEFA Cup to the UEFA Europa League. It was played at the Amsterdam Arena in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on 15 May 2013, between Benfica of Portugal and Chelsea of England. The match was the first Europa League final to feature two clubs from the same country.
Chelsea won the match 2–1, with goals from Fernando Torres and Branislav Ivanović after a goal from Óscar Cardozo for Benfica. As Chelsea had already qualified for the 2013–14 UEFA Champions League through their league performance, Benfica qualified for the competition as the title holders' berth.
